Would you call this a Toybago or a Winneyota?

I just saw an Itasca this morning on the way to work.
I was trying to think of a sadder, more underwhelmed, little engine that could..

Dolphins tend to be smaller, Chinooks being the smallest typically. I’m not certain; it’s pretty hard to tell. Once they get bigger than the desirable Chinook, they all just look really big to me.

We are planning on buying a Toyota camper next year. Not sure that’ll happen, but by God, YES. WE. CAN.

Go for a sunrader. Double tub shell construction minimises the chance for leaks on the roof. Check for signs of rot in the cabover and make sure the parking brake assembly doesn’t stick. A good upgrade is 2 6v golf cart batteries wired in series to make a massive 12v power bank. Longer duty cycle and more amp hours than the 12v of similar size.

Mine is a 22re with 4sp manual. It was pretty seriously taxed cruising through montana with headwinds and crosswinds. Otherwise it did ok cruising comfy at 65. So yeah, slow. But 18-22 mpgs ftw yo. Air bag assist for the rear would not be a terrible thing. If i thought it could maintain the rpm i would wish for a 5sp but fifth would be for flatlands with a tailwind and downhill only. If you are looking for passing power find a turbo and bolt it on and listen to it whine as you still crawl uphill. Mountains are ok if you get a running start. Do not pull off on an incline.
